Anyone want to talk Star Wars? The origanal 3 are classics from my childhood, and they only get better. The new ones are awesome too, I think my boys will consider them their childhood classics. Can we say "Hellllloooo Ani!" perpl Too bad he was so easily swayed by the dark side. ters Did the same actor play Obi-Wan in episode 1 as in 2 and 3? Was it just me or did anyone else think they saw wires/strings in some of Yoda's fight scenes, ones where he's twirling through the air?

I remember going to the movie theatre with my 2 nieces when I was 14... I took them and they ooooh'd and aaaaah'd the whole time, their eyes where as big as saucers and their smiles were from ear to ear..
They loved it...

I have to admit, it's been hit or miss with the new ones'.. I think we saw the one with Anakin was liking that one new girl?? I don't know her name, some princess like Princess Alea... but her..

My kids get a kick out of those light sabors..

I think I still have one of the original one's that came out when the movie did...

That light saber that I have has got to be
30 years old... and my mom bought it at like
a Ames or some store back then...

We rent movies all the time...but I don't know
that we've gotten into the whole series yet..

I know we all went, to the Drive~In to see the one SW movie we did see..
I'll have to find out from hubby which one it was
that we did see...

I remeber going to the drive-in, but I can't remember what we saw. Knowing my dad it was something sci-fi, could explain why I love sci-fi. idea The new movies are those that you really have to pay attention to know what's happening. With 2 preschoolers running around, I don't even remember how many times I had to watch them before I knew what was going on.

I loved the originals, Episodes IV, V, VI and have two boxed sets of them on video We also have the next three, Episodes I, II, III. But I've never watched them. I just can no longer sit and watch a movie all the way through any more. I'm not sure why.

There is and never will be anything as good as the original Star Wars (IV, V, VI) but the new ones (I, II, III) are very good and highly recommended even if you aren't a sci-fi nut like me. A former pastor once told me that after this life we will be able to "explore" the universe. I really hope that is true because I love space, pictures and possibilites!

I only saw the first Star Wars movie...a long, long time ago. lala

The only thing I remember about Star wars is...
"It is true, Luke...I am your father!"
