This doesn't really have to do with gardening but someone suggested a put this here...

I found this round tablecloth that I really like and goes well with my decor for about $3.00 at some off kiltered miscellaneous store... I have a round table so I bought 2 of them and took one to use as a table cloth and the other one a cut in half and used for curtains on the 2 windows in the kitchen... It looks really cute and only cost me $6.00 see... (you can't see the other window but it there...

Flowernewbie, is that a faux finish? I love that shade of blue... goes great with a nautical theme.

I've made cafe curtains with old flour sacks my grandmother had in an old trunk in the attic.

Looks Great!!

The finish on the wall is white base with the blue put on by using only a 3" brush and swiping it back and forth randomly instead of any one direction... I love it! Plus my old walls tend to have dings so the texture really helped to distract that... Thanks!

That is a great idea for older homes... I live in a 1929 farm house and although it has alot of the original woodwork, the some of the walls aren't in such great condition. I do not want to replace the drywall for fear of the woodwork breaking or cracking when removed.

I'll have to play around with some colors and try that dry technique.
Thanks!!
