Thank you, Bill...from the bottom of my heart. kissies

You gave me the most wonderful present anyone could ever get.
...from the anticipation, waiting for them to get here... kissies

I know everyone wants to see what was in the boxes, and I will be posting pictures in just a little while...but I wanted to thank you first.

You made me the happiest "m'lady" in the world this week-end.

Bill always does a great job of spoiling the ladies!
Ain't that the truth! grinnnn

The whole week-end was so wonderful and funny.
I was cracking up on the phone with G-Mom while she was waiting for Vanessa to get to Knoxville, picturing her running around the bus station looking like this...
[Linked Image]
...and I was expecting a clown to get off the bus in London, but instead I got a nun in green rubber gloves! laugh
[Linked Image]

G-Mom and Vanessa were planning on donning the nun costumes before they got off the bus together in London, but since Vanessa didn't make it on that bus G-Mom and I hit the interstate and headed back to Knoxville, Tennessee to find her...dressed like this...
[Linked Image]
We got a landscaper at a gas station to take that picture. I'm glad he had a sense of humor!

We made it to the bus station, and there sat Vanessa!
Group hug happening bigtime in the Knoxville bus station! grinnnn

The trip home was rainy, and going over Jellico Mountain it was so foggy we couldn't see too far in front of us. As soon as passed the "Welcome To Kentucky" sign the rain stopped, the road was totally dry, and the sun was out! grinnnn

First, "the boxes" that were waiting for us...
[Linked Image]
It took us a long time to unpack them, because we would stop and have a shot of Hornitos every few minutes...
[Linked Image]
...or stop to "ponder the meaning" of something... shk
I won't go into it here, but I'm sure you can imagine the discussion in the room when we all unpacked that item! lala

And, there was Willy, waiting to get out of the box!
I gave him a big kiss for being so patient...

OK...where was I? kissies

After we unpacked the boxes I had to go into town to take care of something, and G-Mom made friends with Freckles and Lola while Vanessa took a much needed nap.

We just sat here and talked the rest of the evening. One or two of us might have been drinking a little...(Vanessa and G-Mom).

G-Mom and Vanessa konked out first...
[Linked Image]
...and I sat in the living room for a long time by myself and just smiled!

Saturday morning I fixed breakfast, then we drove out to the farm.
G-Mom took this picture as we were leaving...
[Linked Image]
We drove all the way up to the hill above the pond (where the woods are) and scared some wild turkeys.
Then we drove out to Rachel's, went to Wal-Mart for snacks and Kentucky souvenirs. They didn't have Kentucky t-shirts in Peanut's size, so The Garden Helper (Bill) bought him some presents...
[Linked Image]

We got to talk to Peanut several times on the phone. He talked up a storm, and counted for us...he really put on a show over the speaker phone! Every time Vanessa called him and we got to hear him say "I love you" in his little special way, me and G-Mom would dive for the Kleenex box. shocked

G-Mom and Vanessa made friends with Lola...
[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]
...actually G-Mom ended up a little TOO up close and personal.
Lola got mad because I was on the computer and she wanted to go to bed, so she bit G-Mom.
Sorry, G-Mom..... shocked
I was surprised that Lola even said one word in front of them while they were here, because she usually won't talk in front of strangers...but she put on quite a show. Especially Sunday morning when me and G-Mom were having coffee, waiting for Vanessa to wake up. laugh She had us rolling in the floor!

Girl's Night Out! kissies

My week-end get-together with G-Mom and Vanessa cost Bill a fortune!
He was the host of my party.
He is a VERY good host, even from 3,000 miles away!

Saturday afternoon while we were enjoying a glass of Zinfinsomething, a van pulled into the driveway...
[Linked Image]
The guy brought two huge baskets of live plants to the door. They were the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. We thanked him, and he said, "I'm not finished! I'll be right back." Then he brought another basket, and said, "Cindy must be awfully special!" Well, you already know that's where I started crying...again. shocked

Bill took us out to eat, and told us to order the most expensive thing on the menu, which we did! We talked to Bill on the phone while we were waiting on our steaks.
The filets were perfect, just the way we ordered them, and we ran up quite a bar tab! G-Mom ordered special drinks for us before the meal that the bartender didn't know how to make, so she went back into the bar and made them herself! They were delicious.

G-Mom ended up behind the bar, and Vanessa ended up in the kitchen (by accident!)...and Willy ended up dancing on the table.
We had a fantastic time!

Thank you so much, Bill..... kissies
I hope you know how happy you made 3 women this entire week-end!

I have been wanting to call and see how you made it home, but was afraid you'd be asleep.
