Today is our anniversary. Stephen took me out to dinner and then let me pick out a tea set to add to my collection. I got this really cute miniature set.....and then found a teeny weeny miniature set! I put my hand in the picture so you could see the scale of the two sets. The tiny one will go in the bathroom with all of the others, but I think the other set will need to have a different home. I'm running out of room in the bathroom!!!

What a sweet gift

Where did you find those. My daughter and I have "tea" together all the time. I would love to find us one like that larger one you have there so it would be a bit more "formal". We have a lil plastic set. I have been looking for a nice set small enough for her to handle but large enough for our tea party. I havent been able to find anything in that size.

Karrie, you aren't supposed to use the small sets. The tray says "for display only". BUT my next door neighbor has a small set, just a bit bigger than the one you like, that she and her daughter use. I will ask her where she got it and let you know.

Tamara, this is my first set like this. I mainly collect tea pots and cups and saucers that catch my eye. The place where we got these mini sets has a collection of cups and saucers...one for each month and the patterns on the cups are special for each month. January's has red flowers. The store had the saucers and cups on little display racks for them, but I don't know if they come with the racks. I'm hoping that I can get the entire set before or shortly after baby is born, but I won't be able to go to that store (its 45 minutes away), so I dunno.

Oh, I ended up fitting that set in the bathroom! I had to move some things around. I'll take a picture later....I'm off for a nap.

Jenn those are simply charming! There is a crystal shop in a mall here that has a set of crystal with gold inlay rims on cups and saucers and gold handle on teapot the $$'s Me!! Porcelain is so much more charming!! Yours are beautiful!!

Here are pictures of the bathroom. I took pictures of all of the tea cups and such in there. I have more in the living room, but that isn't really relavant in this thread.
