Hi!
M'kay, here's the thing. My rubber plant has been growing great, but the bottom of the original trunk has already grown bark over it and probably won't get any thicker. The top part is a lot thicker, and still green, so its gonna get bigger. I water it once every day to keep it moist, and i rotate it a quarter turn every morning. It is around a foot tall or less.

If anyone can help, that'd be awesome wavey

Thanks! *dissappears*

Nako,
Try repotting your rubberplant in a heavier, larger pot. This will give the base more stablility. Also, rubber plants can stand to be buried 3-4 inches deeper than nesc. this might help as well. And I guess if all else fails, stake the little guy. (Just be careful not to damage the roots. Hope that helps. wavey

Well, here's the thing. My rubber plant is in a pot that's meant for one probably 5 or 6 ft tall lol. Soooooooooo i should just repot it in the same pot, only deeper? That sounds simple enough ^.^ It'll probably look cuter all low to the ground too smile I'll do that then!

Thank you plant Lady! *hugz*

You know, I came across this the other day and forgot to post. I've been told that you can airlayer rubber plants. Maybe that's an option for you for later.

But the other thing is that, wouldn't it be entirely possible for it to get bigger on the bottom because most plants with bark do...
