hi there everybody! as ya'll know I got a job a couple months ago and it was my first job and everything. well I've been there for about 4 and a half months now and they told us this week that on friday they will be taking the badges from the temps in a particular temp agency called staffmark. well temps are temporary workers and I am one of them, therefor they will be taking my badge. They said that we aren't to come in next week because they are doing inventory and are only going to be running a couple of lines and they will be having the full time employees (the people already hired on that have been with the company for a while) and they will be using a few temps from some of the other temp agencies to help run the few lines that are gonna be running. the temp agency that I work for will then call us to let us know if they need us to come back or not. I hope they don't call me because I will be trying to get a job somewhere else. I have found that that type of work is not the type for me. standing in one spot for hours on end putting up with the crap from the jerks around you. I swear most of the people there have no respect at all! but I won't get into that lol! but oh well atleast I can now say that I have some work experience. hopefully I'll get a job at lowe's,walmart or something for now smile so the good news is that I'll be able to hang out with ya'll for a while to catch up with what's new! kissies

We've missed you around here!

I'm sure you'll be able to get something better next time around. Now that you've had your first experience, you'll know better what to expect next time!

and don't forget to apply for unemployment. a lot of times, there are good jobs that are only available to folks who are on unemployment.

I forgot about unemployment. Be careful though sometimes you have to have worked for your employer for 6 months or more. Also get a good resume. Microsoft word has a resume wizard that work well. Thats how I made mine.
