It's been quite a while, but I'm back in the fold. wavey I had problems with my internet server and it was a real pain. Duh We're getting road runner this week, so it should be easier to be on now. We've been in Belgium visiting our daughter and grandson for two weeks, but I'm ready to get my nails dirty again. Big plans for that Biblical garden this year. More details later. By the way, Button is still the king of the castle, but he's been joined by Lady I(a 4 year old pom)so I'll have plenty of help this year. wink

wavey Hi all! I've been outside getting my nails dirty again. Work is progressing on that Biblical garden; DH is helping me put in a rock wall as a backdrop for the garden. The field just beyond my garden is a mess, and I wanted to have some sort of barrier. So, he's been dragging home these really big rocks and will soon be putting up the wall. About 2 feet high, but it will make quite a difference. It's about 20 feet long, so he gets a gold star for hauling so much rock.

We're also making a new bench to replace the one I used last year. This one will be a 3" plank across real rock legs. And there will be a small water feature this year as well.

New plants going in: Grapevine, Baby's Breath, Golden Oregano, "Remember Me" Hosta, and several grasses: Elijah Blue, Morning Light, and sweet flag. I just added blue forget-me-nots and a sleeping angel to honor a tiny grandson we lost. As soon as the danger of frost is gone, I have a Sago Palm and some Aloe which will be kept in pots out there.

Watch my webshots site for new photos soon.

wavey Hi again! We just finished that stone wall behind my garden. DH also made me a cobblestone walkway across the back. Now we're working on a water feature. Hope of finish tonight, but it's brutally hot today so I'm in hiding. (asthma) New photos have been posted on webshots.
