i put up lights outside today, will try to get some pics. i have grapevine and silk ivy hung on my kitchen porch a keep up all the time, so i weaved clear lites in with it. also put icicle lites on my arbor and across the den porch. there is a burning bush outside the den window, i put colored lites throughout it. and.... thought this was neat....story goes it that a long time ago a meteorite came down in an area called flynns lick, (about 4 or 5 miles from here), and small parts of it broke off and landed everywhere up here on the mountains. we have 4 large "boulders" just outside the house that are like nothing i have ever seen b 4. they are pitted EVERYWHERE and just a different looking texture. every time some one from the area comes up here, they tell me the same story and look at my rocks. it's good to now they are something other than "poisen ivy rocks". that is another story.... so.... i put those clear net lites on the biggest one right outside of the house and it really looks awesome! now i just pray to god i don't get poison ivy----again----and yes, you can get it when there are no leaves on the vines!

who on earth would name a meteorite flynns lick? is there a story behind the name???? we have only been up here (in the country) for about 2 and a half years, so i'm still learning. i don't know anything about the names except----my road was named after a great indian cheif called schelley, who was said to have hid a cave up here to avoid being rounded up with the rest of them, can you blame him? i went exploring several times off my property and there are several places that could be called caves. the locals are still finding stuff from the cival war, but, i never have. i guess i am too busy looking for "good rocks" to haul back home with me. some of the other names 'round here are salt lick creek defeated pleasant shade gladdice those are my favorite just to name a few!

are the graves marked somehow?
