Thank heavens for Souther California members. It's just getting around to being winterlike around here. Which is scary since I have a apartment full of seedlings that are ready to transplant and I hadn't planned for that stage of development so am I in trouble lol.

I love the smell of hyacinths!! Hope we don't have a cold snap that murders mine. Pericallis Senetti magenta - what is the other name of this? Very lovely.

Yeah, we can garden here all year. But it slows down in winter quite a bit.

And Sheri, That is the only name on that plant. I had never heard of it before so I had to buy it right? The tag says: Cool weather blooming. Protect from frost. Full sun to part shade. 15-23 inches. Regular water do not allow to dry out. Use for spring patio containers, 6" or grouped in a larger pots. Or use as a bedding plant. Hardy to 45-55*

Well, they are in my zone 9. But you have to ask someone else for your zone. I just wanted to say that they were beautiful. I love carnations.
