Love the fountain, Sue...give us some details about it. Did you build it yourself? I bet the birds enjoy it, too. Looks like you have a good handle on posting pix now. smile

Thanks guys shocked laugh . Yes, it is a solar powered fountain. My son got it for me for Mother's Day and for Father's Day he got my husband a solar powered, copper bird bath with a water fall in the middle. He got them on line for Sears. The maker of both is Smart Solar. They have a web site and I saw they have a green one, but I'm not sure about blue. Mine is terra cotta and has a Southwestern motif band around each bowl plus the jug at the top. I love the solar feature. No electricity to full with. I hope this is just the start of the solar STUFF!!! We have the lights, too and it makes our yard so cozy at night. Hope this is the info you wanted. If not ask. smile Sue

OK, Sue, don't laugh if this is a dumb question but inquiring minds need to know...lol! Are batteries of any kind required to operate the fountain? I know they are with some solar lights. I want one of those fountains and have the perfect spot for it. smile I spotted one in the Gardener's Supply catalog but I had to be revived with smelling salts when I saw the price. Things that make you go "Accckkkk!!!" shk

No Batteries required, Rosie. I know what you mean about the price. My son had it shipped to our house, so we saw how much he paid for it and could have shot him for spending that much. But it is very nice. lala lala Sue

Your garden is beautiful. I went to Smart Solar and looked at the blue one. It talks about a 15 foot cord to plug in the solar panels. How did you work that out?
