Hi everybody ~
I thought you all might enjoy reading of this bit of silliness from my son...
Unbeknownst to me, while I was working in my bedroom this morning, Maxi came into the living room and hid one of his walkie-talkies behind the bird cage then went back into his bedroom with the other one.
When I rolled out into the living room, I heard
his voice coming from the bird cage saying
Hi! I am a parakeet! I learned how to talk today! It took me a sec to figure out what he'd done, but I said "Oh, Hi, Buttons, nice to hear you!"
Then Buttons "answered" me...
Can I have $100? We need to go to Hawaii I laughed and said "You are birds! You are supposed to FLY south for the winter with your own wings, flap flap flap..."
I heard an awful lot of giggling smothered in the pillows. He came out of his room and asked me how I knew it was him talking?
I said I just guessed it because I wasn't sure either Buttons or Ties would learn to talk with his accent! He is convinced they might.
