Silver Shadows

A breathing cemetery, orbits the mental image
Gradually dissolving the days to dust
Some count money
And others mistakes
Never-ending calculations
Uncertainty, Measured by ones own perceptions

Being alive or just watching
Waiting
Holding on or letting go of reason
Living in the silver lining
Or given in to the shadows

It's hard to decide if that's a poem of despair or hope. I guess that's why I like it so much. You can take it either way.

Living "in the silver lining" is, to me, having a positive approach to life. I love your phrase, "Measured by ones own perceptions." Isn't that how we all keep score? I really like the way you express yourself, Chenno.
