My computer printer (hp deskjet 3420) will not print. Now the power light won't stop blinking. To top it all off, when I picked it up a very small 'U' shaped clip fell out of it. Any ideas? Think it's a fixer or a garbage item?

Tamara. Have you tried to turn it off and then restart it? Also lift the lid and see if the printer cartridges will move back and forth. If that happens and it does not stop blinking, let me know and we can try something else.

Got mad enough that I took it apart. Something broke inside. There's black pieces of plastic in little pieces. Guess I'll be buying a new one in a week or two. frown

Thanks for replying Triss.

I've had issues with my printer.
It had a paper jam, which caused the ink to leak and it made realy bizarre noises...
Haven't tried it lately, but sometimes it's cheaper to buy a new printer, with the ink cartridges included, than it is to mess with an old one...
