Sure feels like spring today. It only got down into the mid 40s last night. I was outside all yesterday in my shirt sleeves pruning gooseberries and mulching my earlier daffodil bed.

I'll be leaving for the garden show in Charlotte in about 15 minutes. It's supposed to be 74 degrees down there today.

I just got back from Charlotte. It was warm! It was already up to 73 at 11:00 as we drove through Statesville. I bet Charlotte got closer to 80 than 74 like they were saying. They were calling for us to get to 58 today, but my min-max thermometer showed 67 for the high.

Isn't the saying in like a lamb out like a lion and visa versa??? If so then we are in for it come the end of March cuz today was downright pleasant if you overlook the fact it was windy.
