Hi All ! We got back late Wednesday night from Tampa Florida. I've been working on my camera, getting the pics all downloaded and uploaded and all that. We had a wonderful time and created lots of life memories. The first full day we were there we went to Busch Gardens. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! I was very impressed with the natural habitat created there for the animals, how healthy and clean and happy they all looked. Here's a picture of a zebra and my favorite the giraffes: And there was even a month old giraffe in the nursery, not sure why, but he did have a few cuts on him:

Thanks for the pictures. One thing that I like to see, although they normally are not at the zoo, is moose. I just LOVE them!! I like their funky looking nose!

Moose, Jen??? I can take pictures of them in my own back yard! Of course the few times I have seen moose in my neighborhood , I've not had the camera on me. They also had this fish tank at Busch Gardens that you walked along, it wasn't actually a tank but a outdoor pond of sorts, where a couple of hippos danced in the water. I couldn't get the pic of the hippos but did get some fishies for Sarah and Lynne and all to enjoy:

That looks like a cool place to go. When mom and Dad lived in Tampa they had season passes and went all the time, but I never went when I was down there. Wish I would have. Did you get any parrot pics?

Here's some of the birds I promised, the first two looked so cozy and chatty, talking on the fence post: Our kids each got a turn "holding" a bird, this is my nine year old, Jocelyn. and her cousin , Jacquee, we told them she wanted a LARGE bird: Then my girl worked at it for a long time and finally got the flamingos to eat out of her hand!

TOO COOL,Mel! We have an aviary at our zoo where you can handle the birds. It's our favorite area to visit.

It was just a small, dinky little place called "The Sarasota Jungle Gardens", but the kids and I had the best time there! Oh , Gosh , I just remembered the white peacock that posed for me there. At first I was the only person that even saw him , he was up on a rooftop, don't know why, but boy did he put on a fantastic show for me. I don't have that pic with me down here, I'll get it when I go home.

Oh, man...the colors on those parrots are so intense! If I went to a place like this they'd have to drag me out of there at closing time.

Someone should tell that donkey in pic one to change out of his pajamas or is he a convict on the chain gang. Jimmy
