So....I was watching TV this morning and happend to come across The New Yankee Workshop. I used to watch This Olde House when I was little and absolutely loved watching them do stuff on that show. Anyways, Norm was building a Poker Table....and it was GORGEOUS!!!! So, I got on the website for the show and looked at a listing of plans that you can buy from them...its not expensive at all!! There are quite a few things you could do for your gardens......benches, green houses...stuff like that. I thought it might be useless to people who are thinking of taking on a larger project this spring and summer. Here is the link...
Project List

I hope someone can use this site! I wish we weren't moving....or already HAD moved so that I can do some of this!!!

I LOVE the New Yankee Workshop. I, and my wife have been avid viewers for years! We both used to work in a furniture factory in North Carolina decades ago when we were newlyweds and have ALWAYS loved woodworking. This show brings back fond, (and painfull memories. I cut off a finger on a joiner/planer when I was first starting out). This is the BEST show if you like woodworking.

We always watch this show and my husband is always picking up plans and occassionally builds things. Not me though, I just like looking at the pictures.

Remember Bob Villa? The original host of This Old House? I saw him pushing the channel 2 (Boston PBS) car when it broke down on a project in NH.

I'm with you, Weezie, I'd like a shop like that too. I'm very handy with the wood and such...we just don't have the equipment.
