I first posted this in House plants but thought I might get more replies here.

I recently saw a pic of a BOP and absolutely fell in love with it . I'm wondering if there is any kind of rooting technique to start a new plant? If so, does anyone have a BOP that they are willing to share?

I looked online and saw that the prices for these exquisite plants are way out of my budget, but I just won't be able to rest til I have one. shocked

Did you happen to notice how long it takes to get a bloom from one of these? I bought some of the seeds and didn't have any luck at all with them.

I read it takes 7-10 years to get one to bloom from seeds!

That's why I was wondering if there is any kind of rooting technique that can be used.
How long ago did you start yours?

Becky, BOP grow offsets (baby plants). Mine are in the ground and they are not always easy to divide out because the root systems entangle. But I will see what I have. And keep you in mind. If you get a small off-set you should see blooms within a year.
