OP BeckyB Member Joined: Oct 2005 Maine	I first posted this in House plants but thought I might get more replies here. I recently saw a pic of a BOP and absolutely fell in love with it . I'm wondering if there is any kind of rooting technique to start a new plant? If so, does anyone have a BOP that they are willing to share? I looked online and saw that the prices for these exquisite plants are way out of my budget, but I just won't be able to rest til I have one.

OP BeckyB Member Joined: Oct 2005 Maine	I read it takes 7-10 years to get one to bloom from seeds! That's why I was wondering if there is any kind of rooting technique that can be used. How long ago did you start yours?

jonni13 Member Joined: Nov 2005 So. Cal.	Becky, BOP grow offsets (baby plants). Mine are in the ground and they are not always easy to divide out because the root systems entangle. But I will see what I have. And keep you in mind. If you get a small off-set you should see blooms within a year.
