So, You can see the red
Upon my life
Perched up so high
Like a bird
Singing as you look down
Your songs fall on my days like rain
So, you can see the red

Flying by quickly
Like, the places nice to visit
Not to live
Yet, you stop
To observe
Making your own nest feel more comfortable
We all live on a limb
Some branching out farther
But the winds,
Can blow powerful change
Testing strength, wearing
Breaking down those long grown branches
Sending you back to your own roots
To grow again
So, you can see the red upon my life
Do you see the black and blue?
I hope you never do
