Hi, I am Jonnie, and I have moved from Atlanta to Starke. I am here b/c I can't seem to get the same things to grow here that I used to grow in Atlanta. Last year it was so wet, I spent most of my time ankle deep in my yard. This year, I am wondering if the rain we should have had this year came last year instead? Anyway, I have lots of questions!

I'm not too far from you. I'm up here in Jacksonville.

Florida has alot of challenges when it comes to gardening.....first you have drought,then massive rains. It can be difficult for your plants going from one extreme to another. It's not impossible though. Hard work and diligence can pay off beautifully

Our daughter and grandson are in Gainesville, SW of you in Starke. How far are you from Gainesville, Jonnie?

It usually takes us 45 minutes to get to UF Shands.
