hey ya'll! well I belong to a local freecycle group and I've never gotten anything from it nor have I ever offered anything really but I do read the messages though. anyway today I read that somebody wanted to get rid of a garden bench and a bird bath. I sent them a response to it and they just emailed me saying that 4 others wanted them too. I'm just hoping that I'll be able to get them! they said that if the other 4 people don't respond then I can have it! I hope I get them!! I've been wanting a garden bench and bird bath for sooooo long!! oh and they're both cement too if I get them I'll take pics and post them on here :-) wish me luck!

I love Freecycle and have been a member for a long time. I've received many wonderful things and have found homes for stuff I didn't need. As a a matter of fact I have someone coming by today to pick up a bag of "office" clothes that someone gave me and I have to go pickup a box of NASCAR collectibles that I'm getting.

I like freecycle too. It's like winning the lottery when you actually get something you want.

I have been able to get rid of ALOT of stuff I didn't need and free up room in my apartment.

We also have a yahoo group up here called MaineExchange. It's very similar to Freecycle, but you can also buy and sell used items. Soooo when you're cleaning out the basement and find things you really want to get rid of but might be worth a little $$$$ you can put them on this site.

well I didn't get the bird bath or the bench but that's ok though...better luck next time! I think I'm gonna go and post that I want a bird bath and garden bench and maybe somebody'll have them for me...hey I think I'll post for garden decorations/statues/trellises too :-) I'm sooo excited lol! hope ya'll get some good stuff and get rid of some stuff you want to get rid of!

I got my bubble today...and the lady also gave me a bird feeder and a flower pot that she was offerring on the site.....so I took them. She has some more gardening things on the site now and I'm thinking of emailing her...although I don't know when i would have time to get to that side of town to get them. Going to have to think about it.

i will when i get them out of the car. It was pouring when I got home and I just ran into the house and left everything out there.

oh ok lol! it's been pouring here all day long! they said it's supposed to be sunny and windy tomorrow but I gotta get out there and get some work done!
