The best way to remove the smell and the slimy feel of bleach from your hands is to rinse and then "wash" your hands with hand lotion as though the lotion is soap.
Then rinse again, and voila !

Good idea Dodge, but they also have some new scents out that are even better. clp Of course, I always wear gloves when I use bleach because it's hard on the hands. frown But I just used one of the floral scents when I cleaned my patio chairs because I didn't want a lingering bleach smell. wink

It's actually the bleach's sliminess I can't stand, and the hand lotion gets rid of it as well as the smell.
BTW, does anyone have a "chlorine cat"? Some cats ( I think it's a gene thing, like responding to catnip ) really love the smell of bleach and you have to be really careful using bleach or even Comet and Ajax cleansers.
My little girl gets so freaked that she rubs around and even bites love bites. She is responding to the smell.
I have noticed that the same cats who respond to catnip also respond to the chlorine smell. And those who don't care about catnip likewise are not stimulated by chlorine.
I have to shut the bathroom door when I scrub the tub or use bleach, so pepper doesn't lick at the bleach or cleanser.
