OK, Patty...that "splains" the icon problem. I didn't think about Win98. I have a nifty, very small freeware program that would work for you that I used with my old Win95 PC if you would be interested. It's called HideIcons and its Icon sits in the SysTray next to the clock (a little white cloud) and with one click, it Hides them, another click displays your icons. Win95 was also notorious for the unmanageable desktop items.

Microsoft has a TweakUI program for Win98 that may also have a solution. I think that may also be on the Win98 install CD but I'm not sure.

At one point, I had so many icons all over everywhere, I made a new folder for the Desktop, named it Icons and drug all of the shortcuts into it. That cut down on a lot of the clutter. Another solution is to drag them into the Quick Launch area of the taskbar...that's where I have another 50 or so hidden. lol!

I will be more than happy to save Crinum seeds for you if I get a 4th bloom cycle this year. I cut off the old stalks just yesterday because they looked so ratty. I would offer to give you one of the bulbs but it would take a backhoe to dig them up. laugh Those suckers were huge when I planted them ten years ago so I can only imagine how big they are now. They have been exceptionally pretty the past two years. I've never tried any type of lilies from seeds...do they take forever to get to bloom size?

I hope everyone is having a super Sunday. smile

I got my wallpaper from National Geographic.
You can get many of their photos as free wallpaper.

I left the link under "Freebie Depot- free desktop wall paper". Check it out, many are absolutely spectacular.

I remember you mentioning about the National Geographic pics in another post. I checked out the link. Unbelievable! I spent all evening going through them all. I kept saying to my boyfriend, "Look at this one! Oh...check this one out! Wow...you HAVE to see this one!" laugh

Yes it does look like a nice walk.

It reminds me of a place we could go to in Holland when my husband was stationed there many years ago.

At the end of the lane was the Queen's main palace but us common folk could walk down the lane to her fence.

Christina,
It's a great site to see some wonderful photos, isn't it.
