This is a pic I've just taken from inside my living room looking out at the front yard. Have you noticed that you cannot see the road. That's what over 8 feet of snow does. Another storm to hit us on Saturday or Sunday.

We have to shovel the snow away from the windows so we can get some sun light in here. [Linked Image]

Wow Tamara! Here in Ontario, we have been soooo lucky! I've only had to shovel once this winter. Our temperatures haven't even been that bad. I mean it's cold but nothing like last year! As my dad says, last winter was "snot freezin' cold!"
I'm just thinking of the amazing snow forte I could make outta' that pile! Kids must be havin' a blast out there!

That's WAY too much snow....I'd feel so claustrophobic in that....

Sometimes we'll get a big 3 foot snowstorm--but if we had 8 feet piling up I think I'd cry! eek

What a picture.....

We slowly plow it on the other side of my house. Makes a great sliding hill for the kids. We usually have more snow than this, it's been a mild winter. We had one winter when we had about 14 feet of snow. That was a mess.

We've never finished a winter here with less than 10 feet. You get used to it though.

Nice to look at the pictures but I don't think I'd enjoy it all winter.
