Ok--surgery is Tuesday at 11 am/home Wednesday (hospital will cost $27,500--I have no insurance and no agencies to help me; not even Medicare) and receovering all or most of March--then hunting a job or two, digging into gardening full steam ahead, exercising and dieting to lose 20-30 lbs and getting back into the shape I WANT to be in!! My birthday was wednesday (1st)--thanks to those who sent cards or well wishes!! Just another day really. Next year I will be the Big 40 and THAT is one to celebrate--especially with no more female problems!! hehehe Will talk to you all when I have healed enough to go to the library to check my mails again!! Till then--happy gardening and I will miss you ALL!! Bonnie

Prayer Before Surgery

Loving Father, I entrust myself to your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, I may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with you and with those around me. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Into your hands, I commend my body and my soul. Amen.

Hey all!! Thanks for the prayers and all. Had the surgery last Tuesday, all went well and I came home the next day. Am able to do most everything I normally do. A little pain but not too bad and scant bleeding. Am on the mend--the wounds are even starting to feel a bit itchy--GOd KNOWS I will NOT be itching them though!! hehehe The temps here have been in the low 80's so I just HAVE to walk around outside and look at all the stuff going on out there!! Have a Pink Hyacinth and 2 grap hyacinths in bloom, all my trees have buds and so many other things getting ready for the season!!! An Amaryllis I bought a few weeks ago at half price at Wal-Mart is blooming--two stalks and so far FOUR red blooms, 2 more opening!! WOW!! How can I NOT be excited?! hehehe Well, will be 100% in a few more weeks I imagine. Talk to you all later!! Thanks!!! Bonnie

Oh--as for seed starting--I have around 60 different kinds of Hot peppers, 13 kinds of Tomatoes and 12 different kinds of Basil I think it is started--almost all with little leaves popped up. Also a few kinds of Hibiscus and a few kinds of flowers?! Planted Sunflowers outside today since it is sooooooo nice and I couldn't resist (hope I won't regret it later as last frost is about 5-6 weeks off yet I think)!!! Waiting for my tulips and other things to flower. Have lots of leaves but few flowers so far. Getting jealous of my neighbors who have daffodils in bloom-WHERE are mine!!! hehehe But....I will be the envy later with my 40 or so kinds of Brugmansia, sunflowers and so many other things!! So it will be ok....yes??!! Bonnie
