The pew filled with look-alikes The smiles wide and absorbent. The afternoon sun setting fast. Five o'clock cocktails ever-lasting. The groggy words misunderstood, inflammed. The tears fall down sober cheeks again. The God I know loves scuffed up shoes, rolled up sleeves and reality in pews. His smile grows when afternoon sun just warms the hearts and calms the souls.
