I'm not used to it after all the mild weather we've been having. We're going to finish our sign in Greenport NY this morning, before heading south for Cortlandt Manor (our last stop) They're calling for highs in the low to mid 20s here today and lows of about 10 or 11 tonight. It's supposed to start warming back again though. They got about an inch or so of snow here last night in Kingston where we spent the night. How much did you get Weezie?
I'm so looking forward to getting home. Tomorrow night hopefully.
Well, "the boss" just showed up. Time to go. Hopefully I'll have internet access again tonight.

We had a beautiful spring day here a couple of days ago ***When the darn Chickenpox was in full bore*** and I wanted to go out side and smell the spring air.. but Friday night, it got really cold and snowed about 2" and it covered all the dirty snow.. and nowwwwwwww it's just plain FREEZING... My husband was out doing car repair on both our cars and he said it was just toooooo darn cold out there.. got it all done and he's back in here, we had some nice warm home made soup and now we're in the living room playing "Guess Who", "Connect 4" and "Chess".. The shame of it all is, those spring days, melted alot of snow... and I always draad that here.. cause not only does it take away the snow cover at the base of the house and opens all the cracks back up.. *and the house gets really cold* but my poor plants loose their snow cover and the chillllllll is on for them.. breaks my heart..

It's 12*'s here, hubby just went out and looked..
My mom's car battery died, he had to go over and jump the battery....... and her garage door door stuck to the garage floor when it had been nice and water had gotten down around the bottom of the door and now that's it's so cold out, it froze shut on her...
Whewwwwww... too cold for me, I have 2 bathrobes on...

That's too cold period.... My hands and feet are freezing---I tell ya in the winter I freeze, and in the summer I'm dying from the heat...there's usually no happy medium with me...I'm either too cold, or too hot. I'm actually thinking of moving my computer downstairs so I don't have to sit up here in this bedroom with no AC in the summer....It's just such a big job I don't want to start tackling it.... :p

you think it is cold there, the last few days it has been -10 during the day and -20 at night, so its been a little frosty for us. we live in Ontario, right on Georgian Bay, so we get all of the cold weather, but its amazing what you get used to. stay warm everyone!!!!

Welcome Tamara, you are right, that is cold, i think we get what misses you. the weather here has been crazy, form one day to the next you just never know. it either snows or rains, yes rain in January, who woudl have thought that we would get rain but we do. but i cant complain, Georgian Bay is great for the summer and having Blue Mountain in our back yard for skiing, life is good.

we dont have as much snow as we normally get, but enough to cover the ski hills and keep everyone happy. they are now saying freezing rain for pretty much all of Ontario later today. i would rather have the snow then the freezing rain. if you are like me, i bet you cant wait until the sping and get some stuff planted!!! Cheers... Penny

Y'all are making me cold - it's 58 here and rained all day. Don't mind that much - we are trying to get through the rest of the winter without having to replace our upstairs furnace and just let the heat mosey on up from downstairs so 58 is good.

I sure wish all of you northern'ers would keep your snow and cold weather up there. Yesterday it was 58 and today it was in the lower 30's and snowing with strong wind right out of the north. It didn't last long and nothing stuck to the ground,,,ground is too warm.

Today it's cold enough. I got home from work about an hour ago, and wondered why I was spinning coming up the steep part of my driveway and then when I got to the top, I realized that everything was covered with ice. It had gotten down to 25 while I was at work, but now it's back up to 33. It's still drizzling, but hopefully it will stay warm enough so it won't ice anymore.
