I can NOT picture Mark skiing...that just cracks me up. laugh And I'm so clumsy that I'd severely injure myself.... I just noticed though that they have tubing down the slopes, I could handle that! thumbup

Well, I haven't heard the full amount yet,
but we've gotten over a foot and a half last night....

We *well I should say me and my mother* were a
little nervous about driving for Thanksgiving day,
but the snow fell all at the right time for us,
early in the day yesterday, lightened up when it was time to go to dinner, and snowed heavily during dinner, then it stopped, mother was able to get home, us too a wee~bit later, and then it dumped the foot last night as everyone was sleepin'.... like it when it snows at that time...

The kids are going to be outta their cotton~pickin'~minds today.. outside, shoveling, tryin' to sled, and makin' angels....

Hot cocoa time!!!!! grinnnn

No! these are from some system way up north and they are cold winds. We may get rain out of it, by the end of the week.

It's windy again tonight. But not as strong - 12mph
and temp is dropping to 46.

You're getting rain after snow? Ugh. slush!

Today at 12:30 PM it was 47 degrees. When I got back from Sunday dinner with my parents at 2:30 it was 39 degrees with drizzle. It was still drizzling when I got home from work at 12:30 PM. The temperature had dropped to 36 while I was away, but rebounded to 40. They are calling for near 60 tomorrow with rain through Tuesday, but no freezing temperatures till Wednesday night.

You know you can get digital rain gauges at walmart....I got dad one for fathers day, and he got my husband one for his birthday....LOL It's self emptying and wireless so you never have to go out and mess with it.... thumbup

It's so dark and gloomy outside I feel like going back to bed.... zzzzz

Okay, who's hogging the sunlight around here? laugh

It's 70 degrees here and raining. It's supposed to stop this afternoon and be sunny tomorrow. I can't imagine why the ladybugs don't want to be outside in this nice humid weather instead of dying inside my house.

It looks like the rains are just about over. They've been off and on all day, but there was a ton of rain overnight! This makes 5.9 inches since it all started yesterday morning. They were calling for flood watches in our area. I think that last batch of showers must have brought the cold front with it. It's been 61 degrees most of the day, but it's starting to drop. It was 58 the last I checked.

Loz, I've looked into some of those electronic weather gadgets, but haven't gotten any yet. I'd expecially like an amemometer as we get a lot of high wind here, expecially in winter.

It has quit snowing for a bit (temp up to 36) and the clouds parted and the sun is shining. I can see the black clouds coming in from the west but for now it is so lovely and bright. I am hoping we get as much snow as predicted (4 inches). *fingers crossed graemlin*

Puddles and ponds in alot of yards,
it was coming down so fast...

Andddddddd, HIGH WINDS, 35~40 miles an hour gusts.

It was an all time high for temp this morning,

But the cold front is moving in thru and it
really damping off and chilly now...

Network TV bored me tonight too, so I watched Sahara on PPV with Michael McConaughey and Penelope Cruz. It was silly, but fun. Oh yeah, and the skies have cleared, the wind has picked up, and the temperature has dropped to 37 degrees. Not that we were off topic or anything. grinnnn
