I just got back from hospital, so sorry I missed turkey day with you all. I would have loved to be here. My gallbladder decided to go on strike and I was on a morphine high on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. But I'm feeling better now. At least until after New Years when the doctor promised to take out the gallbladder for me. What a fun winter that is to look forward to. I think me winter sow is going to wait until 2007 lol. Well just wanted you all to know that I would have been here if I could have been.

I'm not to sure about a low fat diet and me getting along. It's not really my thing lol. But I certainly will try that was one painful stone that had to be passed.

Tammy sorry to hear you were feeling bad not fun on Turkey day. I know what you mean about low fat diets. My Doctor told me I need to go on a low fat diet. Do you know how hard it is in Dallas co. Texas to find a girl to date that is undr 300 pounds. Just can't be done very easy Really west side of county has the most plump girls (my girlfriend weighs almost 100). Hope you get to feeling better soon. got your pretty card today read it to all my furry feathered, scaly family thank you very much. first one I got since Billie died. Jimmy

Oh, hooper! Man, be glad you are gonna get this taken care of in the winter! Having surgery or any kinda bad medical stuff in the summer really sucks...take it from me. Seems like everything goes wrong with me in May for some reason...for the last 3 years. I'm not doin' May next year! Take it easy! "SheWhoWillRemainNameless"!!!

Tammy---that's terrible that you had to spend those 2 days in the hospital...I'm so glad that you'll be getting it taken out before too long.....My friend Mel had hers removed and now she has to be careful about what she eats...greasy things don't agree with her at all....

I've heard that it's extremely uncommon that any type of food will disagree with you but after I had my gallbladder removed....there were many things that didn't agree with me. I've avoided them ever since. Red meat, anything fried....just anything too heavy really. Not fun..in fact, I'm sitting here right now watching my boyfriend eat pizza...I had soup. Christina

I couldn't imagine eating soup while watching Mark eat pizza....it would kill me.... I think I'd cry....I'm serious.... My friend Mel could theoretically eat the greasy stuff, but it goes straight through her.....fast.

My friend Mel could theoretically eat the greasy stuff, but it goes straight through her.....fast. Oh, how I'd rather that! See, if I ate that pizza, it would stay in my stomach forever...won't go anywhere...I'd still be tastin' it Monday. But my brother also had his removed...(guess it's hereditary) and he's like your friend Mel...'course it doesn't bother him...(being a man and all)...he eats anything...and everything!!! Christina

Oh TK, I'm so sorry you had to spend your holiday in such a way. Hospital food isn't notorius for being wonderful..
Best wishes to you for a speedy recovery, and that hopefully, most things will still agree with you post-surgery.

TK, I thought you were out partying with the turkeys that made it through another year. I had my gallbladder removed in 1975, when they used a big scar to pull it out through and kept you in bed for 9 days, and I've eaten anything I want since. It was about a year before I had it removed that I had trouble when eating fried foods. So I think it's gonna be better for you after the fact. I got to the point where I was looking forward to the surgery. I'd have these random attacks (like in the grocery store), that would take me to my knees. It was awful. Why do you have to wait?

Some people will do anything to get out of Thanksgiving-but don't ya thing that was alittle drastic? Glad to hear that your are doing okay though. That has gotta stink to eat soup while watching other people eat pizza. But seriously-glad tht you are doing okay.
