Well, Maxi has decided that since we are each rooting for different teams for tomorrows game, we need to divide the dining room in half (that's where the TV currently is located).

I said, "Fine. You can keep your stinky Pats cheers on your side and I'll do all my wonderful Eagles yelling on my side!"

He laughed so hard.

I can just see him at this division thing, though....he'll probably be putting strips of construction paper down the middle of the party platters and a 2 liter of diet pop on each side of the table, appropriately decorated....

My kid is such a hoot he makes lots of boring stuff fun.

So what's everyone else doing?

Oooo--I'd go.....Be spotaneous!!!! Cindy, I know it sounds like a pick up line you'd hear in a bar--but what's your sign? laugh I imagine you to be a fire sign like me....Adventurous, and a risk taker......Think of all the fun you and gmom would have. <img border="0" alt="[clappy]" title="" src="graemlins/clappy.gif" />

I'll be here, on my couch--with my husband--rooting for the Eagles.....I don't love either team, but I do like football a lot, and if I have to pick my poison it would be the Eagles.

Maxi has decided he isn't going to divide the room after all because he wants to be able to hug me when he gets excited over the game!

What a sweet child I have got. Wonder how that happened?!

Maxi sounds like a great kid! I love hearing all you have to say about him.

Ok, no superbowl plans. I am always just glad when football season is over, but then it just starts up with something else. (I am NOT a sports fan, at all.) They annoy me, especially if it preempts a fav. show of mine. Now, Steve likes football, but doesn't usually sit & watch it much. He's always been a fan of the eagles tho, probably since we're from PA. (One time we played a 1/2 time show for them when we were in the H.S. band.) So, he may have the game on this year, where we usually don't watch it. Other than that, nope, no plans/parties. Could really__care__less.

Me, I'll likely hide out on my puter, and take a peek at the commercials. laugh

Simmering anger and resentment, rudeness or, worse, a tense, threatening silence which may suddenly burst out in eruptions of extreme temper, these are all part of the negative side of the Aquarian.
Hopefully, soon I'll be able to be ME again.

The old me would have jumped in the Avalanche and headed south so fast it would have made your head spin! I actually used to have a problem with that...going to the store and change my mind on the way, and end up in Florida! I have literally been fixing to get on the interstate before, heading north to Lexington, Ky., and all of a sudden just get on I-75 south and head to Florida instead.
Ron Jon Surf Shop here I come! thumbup grinnnn
Man, that felt good! I'm not saying it didn't end in a divorce once,
but hey, whatever works! laugh lala

As we can see, I didn't head south last night!
And, let's just say it's a good thing I didn't call his bluff and hit the road!

Well, Maxi is well past his bedtime but he is fighting hard to stay awake and keep rooting for his team, The Pats. He danced his feet off during Halftime and is now wrapped up in his deep red comfortor seated in his place at the dining table. Don't know how much longer he'll be able to keep his eyes open. I may have to wake him up to tell him who won...

The parties at my house can be short but oh so lively!

Sure enough, my kid started snoring during the 3rd quarter. I turned around and he had his head on the table, unable to root for his team any longer. I scooted him off to bed lest he fall over into the Christmas tree near his chair.

Now that "his team" won, we'll have to leave his hand drawn posters up all over the house for a while, coz he'll be psyched for some time to come although he missed the end.

I'm off to make coffee and put some much needed lotion on my hands. I just finished a huge vintage (1926) thread crochet piece I've been working on as a wall hanging for our priest as an Easter decoration. That very fine cotton thread tears up the skin but lotion stains the piece, so I wait til I'm done. Ummmm, coffee will be good tonight.
