I have a huge peace lily and need to know if it is okay to place the lily outside in the sunshine with it getting morning & afternoon light and obviously monetoring the water???

Peace lilies cannot tolerate direct sunlight at all, especially outside where the sun is much more intense than indoors. Outside, peace lilies must be kept in deep shade; must have temps above 60 degrees at night; and must be protected from wind and animals because their leaves tear and shred easily.

In other words, this is a plant that is better off left indoors year round.
