After years of being a self-professed
plant killer with a black thumb, I'm starting over. And I've gone
plant crazy! In fact I talk about them so much that I'm driving my husband nuts. So I'm really glad I found this forum.
At the beginning of October I planted china doll, philodendron selloum, schefflera, asparagus fern and rubber
tree seeds. All have sprouted and have beautiful little leaves except for the rubber
trees. I'm still waiting on those. I just bought some ponytail palm
seeds.
Meanwhile, because I wanted a little instant grativication, I also purchased a small snake
plant and a small gold dust dracaena (godseffiana) last week. I got some pothos cuttings from my mother that I'm keeping in a vase of water with some pretty flat marbles.
In the past I've been guilty of overwatering and transplanting too soon to large pots. So now that I realize the error of my ways, I hope to redeem myself. :-)
