I had a ton of garden spiders and a bunch of toads this year. So much so, that I never had to use any type of spray! However, it was very hot and very, very dry here for a loooong time, and I think the toads hit the highway. I did find one very large one while re-doing things last week(scared me half to death, I thought it was a snake), but there used to be at least a dozen. Will leaving little pools of water help keep them in the garden? I need some Toad Tips.

I have a bunch of toads from the big one's
to the tiniest little one's no bigger than
the fingerprint area of your pinkie finger..

Only thing I can say is no pesticides..
and a moist place to hang out...
I used to have a cool lookin' "TOAD ABODE"
but my kids broke it... mad perpl

And they need an area that's a little on the
"wild side" too, a place they can feel comfortable
with and it's really just full of nature...
I have a great big area in the middle of my back
40 I let go, so there's ton's of wildflowers and
berries, and seeds from flowers, and sticks for bird nest making and a place to hang out and no
be afraid...
(but I live in the country and it may be a little
more do~able here)
