Why...I'm so glad you asked! We are putting up a fence soon, so I will of course need to landscape around THAT, and there si this tiny island of grass that I feel is totally unecessary...I haven't decided what to put there yet. It is about a 10x4 area. Right next to the walkway to the house, so it has to be something that doesn't get enormous. I am thinking maybe Asters for some late summer/fall color?? Or should I do spring stuff, Peonies or Rhodadendrons?
Oh...the choices.

Yep....just pulled out picked apart sunflowers in my garden last week, and thought of you! They were from seeds you had sent me!
Now, why will those darn birds eat off those sunflowers, but wont touch the black sunflower seed that is now in the feeder where the sunflowers were?
Duh

Wow Weezie, your gardens look FABULOUS!
I will get some pics of mine tomorrow. It has rained here for a couple days, and everything was looking pretty droopy. It really is quite unspectacular right now, because much of it is new plantings.
I lost three rosebushes last winter when dh dug a hole right next to them to bury my 17.5yr old cat. I had her since she was 6wks old. It was a big loss to me.
The wee ones are indeed growing like weeds, and I do need to adjust that siggy! LOL
Didn't move, couldn't find anywhere that had reasonable housing costs.
My beds are mostly the same, some have shortened, and some have widened. I ran weed blocker and soaker hoses through all of them recently. THAT was a big task.

Well, I too have returned. My computer went down and with it ALL my links--never to happen again. I now have a link phonebook. I post all my favorite links in it and then I can still get in (BTW post you secret question answers too so they will send you your password if you use more than one.)
Now that I'm back, I'll be browsing some and posting some too. Cynthia
