For some reason While taking some pictures late today...I noticed the leaves through the viewer in my camera..Notice the one lone dandelion in the middle of the leaves.

Just get the backhoe out after them !
My theory is...He who rakes last....WINS!!!! thumbup

I have raked a couple of times already...but mainly so I could use the leaves as mulch....I swear 15 minutes later...you can't tell anything was done! So...unil the last leaf falls....we will consider them fall decorations!

Since I live out in the boonies, I don't worry about the leaves, If I rake them it is also for mulch, compost pile....or because it is getting cold and I want to be outside, so I'll rake a small pile of leaves and burn them, just so I can be outside and not be cold, burning leaves smells so good I think.

I live in Izard County...I am only about 28 miles south east of Mountain Home, but it takes about 45 minutes to get there the way the roads are here in Arkansas laugh

Mountain HOme is such a beautiful part of Arkansas! I have been through there several times but never having the chance to stop & play! It is especially pretty in the Fall...and yes, it take a while to get anywhere in Arkansas because of the swirvey curvey roads...but I like them....it seems to give it a bit of personality! I don't know about your area...but the leaves are just starting to try to turn here...really late compared to past seasons.

Well, it just started STORMIMG really bad here....these darn acorns are making it sound like we are getting bombed...especially in this mobile Home! shk That's kind of a new one for me! we don't have any kind of a car port or anything and I get a little concerned about the vehicles! This is all so very different! But, I also hate it for all of our little trick~or ~treaters tonight...bless their hearts, I know they are so dissapointed!

I know what you mean about the acorns...We use to live in a house that was near a black walnut tree, and when those things hit a tin roof and then roll down it, it makes you want to jump out of your skin.
