Our neighbor is in the home rehad business and he brought me an old cupola off of a house he was tearing down. We looked at it for a few days and decided that it would make a pretty dandy planter...what do you think? grinnnn

hi! I'm not sure but I think it's one of those decorative things that people put over their wells. we have a well here at my house because we live on a mountain and it's where our water comes from and the people across the street have one on there well for decorative reasons :-) hope I helped some :-)

Actually that would be a well house.

A cupola was used at the top of old buildings to mount weather vanes on and things. Look at alot of your old steep roofed barns.....they have cupolas. Just a decorative element mostly.
