I can not get warm today, and I live middle Ga. It is cold for us, until a few days ago we have been in the 70's for lows. Also I am bored out of my mind. Cleaned out closets yesterday :p I am not an inside person--will be totally nuts by spring--any ideas on trying to stay sane? Steph

Steph, Bundle up & get out there & start raking, or turning over your garden soil... or if it's raining & you think you'll melt, how about cleaning the garage? (It all hasta be done sooner or later anyhow!) I GUARANTEE you'll get warm & start taking layers off! thumbup

Hi Steph wavey

We haven't met yet - I was having computer problems when you started coming around.

Do you do any needle crafts? I started knitting last November, and find that not only does it occupy some time, but it also keeps me warm while doing it! I'm currently making an afghan for my daughter - the longer it gets, the warmer it keeps me while knitting! thumbup

By the way... it started out at 36 this morning when my daughter left for school, dropped to 34, and now the high is 42 - so 70 sounds heavenly to me!

Just a suggestion, and welcome to the forums!

Not sure if you enjoy the kitchen or not....I love the kitchen...my favourite room!!
When it's cold and I just can't seem to warm up, I spend the day in the kitchen....cooking, baking, I love to make homemade soups...I start from scratch so by time I dice all the veggies, sautee..make the stock, etc, etc...Im all warmed up. And what warms you up more than a hot bowl of soup??
Good Luck Steph! I wish I was there with you, guarantee, I'd be walkin' around in shorts and a t-shirt...you want cold??? Come live with me for awhile. wink

Steph - I'm just north of Atlanta and if you are already done with your closets you can come work on mine. I guarentee that I am NEVER bored enough to clean closets (or most of the rest of the house either).

Christinac I agree with ya there. When it's -45*C ya really get to know what cold is like. Time to take up a crafting hobby, maybe start some Christmas decorations.

You nailed it Steph!
Someone once told me that people who are indeed "Nuts" don't know they are. So if you think you're going nuts, you really are okay.
When you start thinking you're fine.....then start to worry. wink
