I have never seen such a tough plant. We have had frost so heavy that the leaves are almost all down off the trees. Everything is dead, winter is on its way. Yet out in one of my flower beds is this one lonely plant. It is as lovely as any in the summer. Fully bloomed and bright yellow.

I can guarantee that tickseed will be planted in all my beds after seeing this. I am amazed that it is so tough. I love cool my little coreopsis nutz .

I have a couple of kinds of coreopsis..
The bright yellow/orange one's..
the yellow/orange one's with a burgandy center..
and the other one that is fern like or real
fine leaves one.
I never watered any of them this summer and
all did good!!!!

And for the first two variety/kind, if you keep the flowers picked before they go to seed,
they'll keep flowering..
Then the last sets of flowers in the fall
time I let go to seed then I have extra's for
around the plant..
