Im new to this - have been looking at different places all over the internet for the best part of the day trying to identify a plant/flower, then I somehow stumbled upon this site! Is anybody here well informed on plants and flowers in South Carolina? Have no idea if they are native to here or an American plant in general!

Ps - Hello from South Carolina!! Duh

Hi and Welcome,

The forum is a wonderful place for gardeners and people like me who just love having plants around but don't know anything about them.

Definitely if you can post a relatively clear picture of the plant down in mystery plants some one will know what it is. And look down in plant profiles for some great pictures of plants.

Hi,

Go to the picture you want to paste. Copy the address. Then come here go to post a reply. press the button that says image a box will appear paste the address there do not change anything including spacing. press the button on the box that says "ok" i think. You will get a second box type in anything you want to title the picture. Press "ok" again. you are back at your reply. Do not change any of the infomation that has been added to your post. I usually hit enter to get to the next line so I don't mess anything up.

wavey from one sandlapper to another! Welcome, Kebab! I am just "learning the ropes" of gardening, so I can't really tell you what will survive here in this hot, humid place. I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone in trying to learn.
