Hi Muskrat,

Cats are attracted to Catnip (Nepeta cataria) and Catmint (Nepeta faasenii). They are safe for cats, however, avoid excessive ingestion since it may cause vomiting or diarrhea. These are usually planted in the garden, but maybe you could try growing the Catnip indoor to keep your kitten from your Bonsai.

BTW whereabout in GE are you?

I am in Southern Germany, just on the north side of the Black Forest...a city called Pforzheim. I am a musician here. There aren't enough orchestra jobs in America, so I migrated. smile

I used to live in Muenchen and Furth areas for a number of years and had travelled quite a bit some through your city from either Stuttgart or Karlshrue.

I found a good spray that keeps my cats away, I don't know if it is in Germany though. It is called Boundary, it stinks something awful but works great. I would spray in the morning before work and the evening after work, it takes about a week, but they will leave it alone eventually, and you can stop spraying it.

More power to ya for having the courage to pursue your career to unknown lands!
