lol! now that's the cindy we know!! glad to hear ya back cindy get well soon!

Oh, I did a bad thing awhile ago!

I'm not supposed to lift ANYTHING heavier than an African Grey parrot.
Rachel has been coming over everyday to do any chores that need done...taking care of Mommy pretty good!
But, awhile ago Lola made a HUGE mess on the carpet with some cashews. I tried to get down to the floor to clean up the mess and knocked over a whole can of seeds off the coffee table.

So...I went for the vacuum cleaner.

I couldn't even push it! I turned it around and pulled it to where the mess was, then tried to push it again, but realized it was impossible. I turned it off and pulled it back out of the way...and realized that all my tubes and little plastic bags they sewed into me were all turning red.

I messed up.

He!!, I grounded my OWN bad self to the couch today!

I just thought I wasn't SUPPOSED to do anything.
Finding out I COULDN'T do anything has really bummed me out.

Are you okay? You said your tubes were red......is everything all right now? How long do you have to make sure you rest and not do anything???? I'm such an idiot.....I bought you a card a while back and was getting ready to send it when I realized that I'd lost your address....I had it from the xmas card but I can't find it anywhere......can you PM it to me?

I've been on the couch ever since the vacuum incident today. Tubes are clearing up. I go back to the surgeon tomorrow morning...so I guess he'll tell me SOMETHING!
He has already said nothing over 5 pounds for at least 6 months. Guess he knows what he's talking about.

Be safe, be well, you are to important to us to risk your health for any reason. And certainly not a birdy mess.

Don't you go out there and try to do a lot of stuff in your garden either!!!! Find some stuff you can do to keep you busy but sedentary.....crossword puzzles, jigsaws, etc.....whatever it takes for you to get through 6 months and not be lifting stuff.

Believe me... I have TOLD and TOLD and TOLD her not to do anything. I have offered to do anything possible..... I have taken piles of magazines over there for her to lay around and read... and RELAX!

Okay... Cindy... Please call me in the a.m. before you leave -- if you have a chance. If not, call me on the way home... (or up there)

all jokes aside- please take care of yourself-- if you push too hard now you might not fully recover ever. We all want you to be up and going full throttle but not before your time. Take it easy and just be patient. Time will pass. Besides-- look at it this way-- you're already able to type so you can spend more time on the forum. That ought to keep you busy. You can keep reminding me how much I'm going to end up hating cactus when I'm done...

You guys are right...I got grounded. :rolleyes:

Came home feelin' kinda blue, walked into the house and the first thing I saw were all the "Get Well" cards taped to the door when I got inside.

Yep she's grounded!!! At least she did get her drainage tubes out...even though it was a painful procedure, I am praying that she will feel better now! Sendin ya more hugs & prayers Cindy Jo Faye billy Bob Marie Allen JEZABELL!!!
