I can see I have some pretty special friends here.

I'd be lying if I said I was feeling a lot better, so I'm not going to lie. I feel pretty rough. I had forgotten what this much pain felt like, and I hope that soon I will forget again!

All these stupid tubes sticking out of my body, attached to bags of this and that I have to keep pinned to my clothes aren't much fun either. There is absolutely no way I could run with a -T Switch right now and not end up tangled up in plastic tubing!

I planted blackberries in your honor.They are very thorny, but when we finally get to pick some, the scratches will be well worth it.

I have pre-planned my funeral...and the songs I have chosen to celebrate my life will have my friends and family smiling (hopefully laughing!) through the tears.

Cindy, you're back! I miss you

I see that Cindy has not been on today. I haven't talked to her either (today). She has been through quite an ordeal.

I am glad that everyone has kept her in your prayers and offering such support.

And her sense of humor... THAT will never leave. No matter how bad she feels, she always has that. She can always make you feel better, no matter what the circumstance.

I checked in on her yesterday evening and as usual, had a wonderful time with her. She is still in massive pain, but trying to get it under control with the meds... Hopefully today has been better.

Thanks to those of you keeping everyone informed. (I haven't done so hot, but will do better).

She loves you all -- you are her family.

Les, thanks for checking in & letting us know how she is. Getting on the puter is about the last thing I'd be doing if I was hurting the way she is. I'd be in the fetal position.. but something tells me that Cindy isn't as weak as I am. She's still in my thoughts & I hope she's feeling better each & every day.

Well...I was pretty weak yesterday! I was in that fetal position on the couch most of the day. :rolleyes:

I did venture outside for a few minutes in the evening to cut a fresh bouquet of roses, and the last pink peony bloom.

It kills me to know that some of my plants need water, but I can't drag the hose to them. A few days ago I was zonked out on the pain medication, and found myself out in the yard wandering around carrying the nozzle off the hose, pointing it at the plants like I was watering them! What a cruel joke that thirsty Brugmansia must have thought I was playing on it...watering it with invisible water!

Don't worry...Rachel arrived, took the nozzle away from me, led me back inside to the couch, then watered all my plants.

I just got off the phone with Cindy. She did have a bad day yesterday. Didn't get off the couch much...

Says on the pain med bottle that alcohol intensifies the effect! So, I figure I will save money on pain medication that way!

Oh man, it's 2:40pm now....I was going to tell you I was on my way to sit in the garden with you, drink wine and pick my bouquet...but I bet I've missed it now! You guys are just going to have to give me a little more notice...I'm not moving to fast, my right leg is about the size of a telephone poll! So, I bet you've made it back to the couch by now & I am headed to mine...let me know when the next outing is!

I might not be able to "drop by" but, I have my zinfinsomething in hand and I'm toasting ya!!

Well, we had a good time. I haven't been back long actually.. It would be awesome if we COULD all get together and hang out.

I got some awesome pics of her garden that I will share. (later)

Cindy is doing much better. We have figured that the worst is over. Yesterday must have been one of the worst and it is uphill from here. She looks really good now!

Just thought I would give a quick report before I go to bed.....
