I swear, we all had some good fun with this question around here in my town. Of course my cousin in NJ says it is so cold in ME for so long, we get stir-crazy, wanting something to think about!
But honestly, when my friend said every morning for breakfast but never at chruch, I thought I would die laughing. I told her it is a good thing she doesn't want it at our church monthly breakfast...we'd all be standing around yelling "hide the bacon and eggs, somebody! Jeff & Ann are ducking into the closets again!"
And I told Maxi I'd ask him the question again in 20 years. I certainly DO want my 9 year old to think both coffee and $ex are "yuckky", but he won't forever!

For those of you who are interested, I am posting the other parts to that quirky personality test.
Get a piece of paper and pencil -- this is on the honor system because I wouldn't suggest you post your answers unless you feel like it later.
In a following post I will tell the interpretations according to the test. I think it would be interesting to see if any of us feel this is accurate at all. For me and Maxi it was.
Ok, here are the remaining questions:
Put the following animals in the order of your choice, with the one you like best as first, and so on down the line:
HORSE, TIGER, PIG, COW, SHEEP
Now, in a single word or short phrase, describe your opinion of the following words:
Dog Cat Rat Coffee Sea
Have fun and I hope you find this interesting!

Ok, I hope you all have your answers written down and ready for the interpretation.
According to this test, the animals represent the following elements of life:
Horse = Family Sheep = Love Tiger = Pride/self-respect Cow = Career Pig = Money
So in theory, the order you listed the animals indicate how those things line up in your head in order of importance.
Now for the second part:
How you describe the following words indicate your feelings about the meanings....
Dog = Yourself Cat = Partner Rat = Enemies Coffee = Sex Sea = Life
I thought this part was intriguing and I did have to chuckle over one of my answers.
I descirbed "Dog" as "Pesky, high-maintanence" which is truly what I think of myself these days. I laughed with my friends saying "Well, at least I know how pesky I am!"
I described "Sea" as "Wonderful!" and Maxi said "I love it!" with this beautific expression on his face.
And that is truly an accurate reflection of how we both feel about life. I have always described Maxi as a kid who just plain loves life, even from his youngest ages. Interesting that he described himself that way, too.
One of my good friends was shocked though, when she listed Tiger as #1 in the first segment, thinking Pride was a bad thing to list first as the most important. I thought that was a matter of interpretation.
Knowing her as well as I do, I think in her case it means the good kind of pride -- the kind that makes you want to have everything done right on behalf of yourself and those you love. I didn't view this as a negative at all, for I have seen her sacrifice much personally in order to make things right for her family.
INTERSTING, huh?

Um, Fernie ~
By saying "pet" for "dog" did you mean....
You FEEL AS THOUGH you are someone's pet
OR
You WISH TO BE petted?

I don't drink coffee... So I guess I was feeling a little left out. And in that particular game, coffee is second to last on my list, with rat being a definite last. But of course that was before I knew what "coffee" really meant. At least I put "sheep" at the top of the other list. Now on the properties of tea: I cannot live without chai, spicy and creamy. I need the green - wonderful for my health. I love the black vanilla tea, aromatherapy in a cup. And chamomile - to soothe.

I am one of those melt the hair off your chest strong coffee makers/drinkers. I hate colored water. I also am very fond of tea, almost any kind but mint. What is funny is....my husband used to haul livestock. When we were first going together, I went with him with a semi load of sheep over to Oregon. Now this is a heck of a lot of sheep. The ranch we hauled them to had this loooooong chute to unload them off the livestock trailer. Come to find out, sheep tend to be followers and don'tlike to volunteer to be a leader. So as Chris my hub got them to the door, I would take one by the forelegs and pull them into the chute. YOu had to pick a leader about every 6th sheep. If they got spooked in the chute, they would back up back into the trailer. Some of them were big enough to completely run me over. Well by the the time we got 150 or so sheep off the trailer and down the 50+ foot chute I was covered in sheep......uh manure. And the ranch didn't provide any water for us to rinse off with. We had to drive 30 miles to the nearest rest stop big enough for a semi. I was definately ready for a nice stong cup of chamomile!! After cussing and pushing and pulling and restarting the same 5 sheep over and over again, I haven't had much of a fondness for sheep, and it absolutely makes no sense at all to equate sheep with love. I sort of equate them with lack of brain power and lots of meanness! They are last on any list of mine. I figured since I put horses first (I have 4), I am adding love onto them!

Oh SN please don't feel left out. According to the original statement of the question, there was an option for you tea-totalers to answer for tea as for coffee.....

Well, for dog, I wrote "obedient" and I don't think that's me. Cat/Partner = "independant". Hm. For rat/enemy wrote "smart"! Oh dear! Coffee/sex is "helpful", yep. Sure helps. And sea/life= "soothing". Life isn't always soothing, but I guess it does soothe me to know it's still there!
