Just imagine an overweight, middle aged woman with glasses, brown hair, brown eyes.
Hey! I just posted a picture of that woman in Coffeehouse!

Take away the short hair and blonde streak and it could be me. Had no idea that I had a twin running around out there!

Ha...I'll bet there are no amazonish women out there like me.....Think of the Jolly Green Giant only not green, with auburn hair, brown eyes and not quite as ugly..... laugh

When I was little mom thought I'd never stop growing......

Oh that is a good one Loz. Now all I can see is a tall green woman, dressed like an Amazon with long flowing Auburn hair.

Same here.....luckily I looked at weeding pictures and know the truth!!! You may be tall but thankfully not green! I am average height, 5'5" (almost) but I am rather on the....shall we say fluffy(?)....side.

fluffy is a good adjective. I could be fluffy. Better than pudgey or chunky which is one I usually use to describe myself.

My sister-in-law used to have a magnet on her refrigerator of a sheep and on the sheep was printed....I am NOT fat, I'm fluffy. I have ever always liked that.

I have a pic of my mom and dad when they were going together standing on the front porch of my grandparents' (mom's parents) ranch house. I can't seem to get the darn thing onto my photobucket and into here. Everyone says I look like mom but she is only 16 in the picture. laugh laugh laugh And very unfluffily skinny. :p

They say I look a lot like my mom as well, but I dunno. I have a pic of her holding me when I was a wee thing and she was the most beautiful mom, and skinny too!

Mom's face is more heart shape and mine more square but otherwise I am wrinkling the same as her and everything. I am even greying like her, sort of a frosted effect. Not that I have much grey yet, I really don't for being 52. My hair has turned a very dark brown, it was always rather mousy until my 40's. Mom's hair was coal black and gorgeous, now it is coal black and sprinkled allover with silver.

Hey Fernie - we're the same age - when's your birthday?

The thing I notice about looking like my mom is my hands. They simply cannot be connected to my body - they look just like hers as they are aging!

That is the big difference with my mom and me Fernie. She has black hair and went grey at 18, mine is brown and just now getting to grey. I dreaded my 18th birthday as a kid.

Lynne, my birthday is Flag Day, June 14. Triss, my mom is very french looking with dark skin and black hair and I ended up with light brown hair and freckles! Mom is what they call black german, scot and irish. I ended up with that irish fair skin and my Grandma's scot coloring. The only thing I inherited from my dad (who is polish/slovene and also had black hair that is totally white now) is his hands. My hands are just like his only smaller. And I think uglier on a woman!
