I have a question for you though???
Is flowering maple the same as a chinese lantern??
I have chinese lanterns and they are not a flowering maple that I know of??????????????
(to me they are two seperate
plants)????????
They are a
plant, that spreads profusely, have white
flowers, turn into a green ballon like and eventually turn orange and look like a lanterns???
The only place I remember seeing the flowering maple for sale is on the QVC shopping channel in the
spring time when
spring Hill and Roberta's Exotic's and Garden of Merit, etc. are on.
Say around Feb., March or April time.?????
And that was a very pretty
plant, seemed multi colored and the
flower reminded me of a ???????? hibiscus,
Hollyhock or something of the likes, it was a peach color (or salmon like), very pretty
flower.
