Just came in from raking and watering. It was 36 this morning, now it's mid 60's. I love it, but had to come in for a break. Not rained in 3 weeks now so I had to do a lot of watering. People look at me like I am the nut that I am. They think because it is not hot, trees and shrubs do not need to be watered, but us garden nuts p know better or do we clp

We had one of those days a couple of weeks ago..
It was so nice and sunny and got alot of yard work done...but it's been sooooo cold here,
can't get anything done...

But I have good news, This coming weekend for us
up here, it's supposed to be in the lower 60's by Monday!!! *That will be heaven sent for Halloween night..*

And it's very good that you watered your plants..
They need water all the way up to and thru the winter.... so, don't let them looking at you stop watering your plants...

Oh yessssssssssss, love it when you don't have
to design a Halloween outfit around the winter snowsuits.... wink laugh laugh frown :p

Steph, I'm in Western New York....
One hour South of Buffalo and 90 minutes North
of the Pa. border...pretty much in a straight line.

I live in the snow belts as they call it...
We've never lived the Blizzard of '77 down around here...don't get too many of those winters really,
THANK~GOD, but cold just the same..

Weezie, I have been to Binghamton,N.Y., but was in the summer. It was soooo nice up there!!!

Down here in Ga. the humitity is sooo bad, you never get used to it. But the good thing is we usually have mild winters. Steph

Steph - Binghamton is still pretty far from where Weezie lives, I believe -
she's way out on the western side of NY!

By the way... I went to my first 2 years of college at SUNY Binghamton. In those days it was called Harpur College (changed 2nd semester of my freshman year), and now it is Binghamton University! What's the big deal about the name changes I wonder?!?

Weezie all you folks in NY Ma and Mn wanting warm weather we want cool weahter 65 here right now @9:00 pm. Steph know what you ,eam people look at you like youv'e lost it when you water and temp is under 100. I water mine around 4 or 5 in the morning. One man ask me what I was doing I told him since I have a water hose in my hand and water is coming out the end going on my plants I just figured I was watering my plants. He said he hasn't watered his in a month. Me and my mouth I blurted out I was wondering what killed all your flowers so he storms off p Got to have water I use a moisture meter more in the winter then summer. After it cools down I will bring most of mine in the house for the winter. I guess you right maybe we are all a little nutz But thats ok with me.
