No Comment.... And yep Barley, he loved his hunting blind.....he had it set up yesterday spraying extra weather sealer on it.....LOL

I didn't do too shabby, he got me a diamond ring....

But gifts aside it was a nice day.....Hard to believe it's been 6 years...I can remember back to when we'd been together 1 whole month...I remember saying that to him, and he laughed.....I bet he never thought he'd end up marrying me way back then!!!! Sure glad he did!

It truly feels like it was yesterday when I was getting dressed for our wedding...and my sister was doing my hair, and dad walked me down the aisle....ah the memories....

Here's me with dad.....It was a bad picture, but I still like it. My sister made all of the bouquets and corsages as a present to me....for her first time I think she did pretty good huh?

To those who were asking here is a picture of my diamond ring....I wanted a pointer finger ring and it's perfect...Sind my fingers are so long I can't wear small rings they get lost on my finger.....The other ring is the one Mark got me with matching earrings/necklace for our anniversary 3 years ago....I love the rose gold roses on it!

Our wedding was really small, about 30 people, I wanted it to be intimate with our close friends and family. The reception had about 100-125 people.

Your gown was exceptional! I particularly like the shawl/sleeve effect, with the front closure looking so dainty. Very nice line to the skirt as well.

I think I also like the idea of a more intimate ceremony, limited to the people who really love the couple and want to participate. The big party is fine for afterwards, though.

What type of church was that? The nave looks nice, too.

Merme, that dress was a great buy.....I was running a tight budget for the wedding so that dress was actually a bridesmaids dress...I just ordered it in white and slipped my sisters crinoline thing underneath it....I think it was $139 bucks plus 15 more for extra length since I'm so tall...LOL What sold me on it was the little wrap with the crystal in the the center....I loved that!

My niece was here the other day and had me try it on for her and it still fits!

I know a lot of people that have had huge weddings just because they want more gifts...but I couldn't have cared less about that, I just wanted the people there that loved us....

That church is Trinity United Methodist Church...I started going there when I was 7 years old with my mom....My dad used to pick up extra money as the janitor there part time...So when I was little I'd go down and help him vacuum after a wedding, or shovel snow, or polish the pews....Many times we'd end up in the basement playing pool and ping-pong afterwards....And we'd always stop for breakfast or lunch...But it was never like he put me to work and I had to go...I used to love to go with him!

Ocassionally I'd turn the mic on up in the pulpit and give lectures, or sing, or try to play the piano.....

Loz, sorry I missed your anniversary! I'm glad it sounds like it was a wonderful one. I guess Mark's a keeper, eh?
