I like to get a bag of beans from the grocery and poke them in - they make nice climbers for fences, etc.

I'm planning to put some into my periwinkle patch. Everybody's telling me it looks like it did ok over the winter but I think they're just being polite.

I told Jeff to get me some dried beans and he came home with the soya beans - it'll be something new.

I don't think they will flower or anything cause they aren't fertilized.

I tried some last year, but I was less than thrilled with the results...
Mine weren't vines though -- just sad little bushes.
