Just joined the forum though I've visited her several times. I've been gardening for years--since I was given a little corner of my parents garden as a kid. About five years ago, built a house in the country in an old clover field, and facing the challenges of country gardening, being mainly figuring out what the deer won't eat. I'm limited to tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, zuchini, pumpkins and melons. Hope to build an 8 foot fence around my garden soon, so I can grow more. I also have an orchard of about 20 fruit trees and 13 grape vines. Already have my tomato and pepper seeds that I will start around the first of March. I'm eager for spring to get here, as are most northerners this time of year.
