Does anyone know what it means when A Jade (more than one species) Has a small percentage of leaves that are drying up and in fact crystalizing-small white crystals ctually rub off on your fingers when you pick them up-while the rest of the plant appears to be doing fine? If so, please post, or mail me @ corruptinthailand@yahoo.com Thanx, Sea.

I think that it is salt. I don't know why though. Did you try to wash the plant off? I would then move it to new soil. Did I help at all? Thea

Im wondering if maybe it is a build up of fertilizer? if it doesnt seem to be hurting the plant just wash it off. If it is maybe flush you soil down, and go lighter on the fertilizer and get it on the soil and not the leaves..
