Hello,
I heard the most wonderful rumor today -- it's supposed to be 70 degrees on Wednesday. Outstanding news...especially since, last Wednesday, it was spitting more of the blasted white stuff!
I know all of us in the northern climes are sooo happy to see spring -- I thought it would never get here.
I'm looking forward to getting to know folks here and sharing garden and plant info.

Hello! Welcome to the forum! You'll find this to be the best place...lots of very friendly and knowledgeable people here, plus tons of information to boot. One of the forum hostesses is sure to be along shortly, if they haven't already done so while I'm typing.... grinnnn
Anyhow, good to see you here, stop by lots!

Thanks for the nice welcome! wink

I agree, Linda -- this winter has seemed much longer than any in recent memory. Then again, I turned 50 last year, so maybe 'recent memory' ain't what it used to be... eek

I've been looking around -- what a great board!

If the promised sun and seventies really happens (I'll believe it when I see it), I'll be digging outside for the next couple of days, but as soon as the weather is crappy, I'll definitely be spending some time here!

cheers,
Gisela

Welcome Gisela, I spent my elementary school years in Baltic, near Dover and New Philadelphia. I remember going up to Cleveland to the zoo and museums.
I know what you mean about wanting to get outside, we've had nearly 3 inches of rain in the last 5 days plus 2 full days of fog. Now this morning it looks like the sun is trying to come out. smile
